Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic team in Canberra. This full-time position involves assessing, planning, and implementing workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and businesses. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing workers' transferable skills and potential through various means, including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contacting employers to enquire about potential jobs and promoting the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational rehabilitation principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or a related field, along with full AHPRA registration, is essential.
