Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee our production line at our Milperra facility.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the safe production and assembly of various components and products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake supervision and leading hand tasks
  • Ensure that appropriate training is carried out for all team members
  • Ensure that all parts and products are assembled/produced according to procedures and specifications
  • Ensure that all safety and quality procedures and standards associated with the task are adhered to in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in and drive continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure production efficiency and daily output is in accordance with production schedules
  • Maintain 5S standards at all times
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to ensure minimal disruption of business operations
  • Ensure all stock transactions are recorded and production order material quantities are correct to ensure inventory accuracy
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Ability to be safe and protect others from risk
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to be efficient and well-organized
  • An ability and willingness to meet targets and deadlines
