The Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing State Library Victoria's procurement and contract management activities, ensuring effective and efficient practices that align with the Library's goals.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Facilities, this expert provides strategic commercial and procurement advice to internal stakeholders, mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing procurement practices across the organisation, facilitating tender processes, and ensuring compliance with Victorian Government Purchasing Board policies and procedures.
This role requires a high degree of written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to foster a culture of best practice in procurement.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise in end-to-end procurement practices, including documentation, process development, and contract management.
They will be adept at analyzing complex procurement data and developing tailored solutions to improve efficiency and consistency across the organisation.
