Supply Chain Coordinator

TLH Recruitment is representing a leading Automotive Distributor seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join their team on a 4-month parental leave replacement contract.
The role's primary purpose is to monitor stock levels, place purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels across customer warehouses.
This role offers a salary of $68k plus super (depending on skill level).
Key Responsibilities:- Creating purchase orders based on replenishment needs to ensure optimal inventory levels meet business units and customer demand.
- Tracking and managing purchase orders and their due dates to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding issues relating to orders, such as delivery schedules, product receipts, inventory accuracy, invoicing discrepancies, and general queries.
- Ensuring the safety of team members by complying with safe work practices, policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Warehousing experience working with a large multi-site, national company.
- Quick learner with high attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in MoPro and/or purchase order management is ideal but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc).
