Job Title: Senior Investment Specialist

Overview: This role is responsible for managing system and external investment calculations. The specialist will consult with operation areas, perform complex calculations, be an SME on system investment requirements, design and upgrade calculators, innovate and monitor solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic quality projects on behalf of Investments
  • Participate in problem-solving and collaboration, maintaining healthy group dynamics
  • Actively seek process improvement opportunities
  • Execute off-system investment calculations providing accurate member account calculations
  • Work directly with peer specialists to ensure all investment calculation enquiries are managed in line with SLA's and each Fund investment business rules
  • Write and execute SQL queries to extract required data for calculations/analysis
  • Assist, participate, and investigate all calculation enquiries, escalating issues which can't be resolved
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service to clients, members, and Trustees by correctly calculating and checking to ensure 100% accuracy

Experience & Qualifications: We're seeking a technical specialist with above-average mathematical and Excel skills, advanced knowledge in Excel, intermediate knowledge in SQL, experience in Finance, Accounting or IT, and a Bachelor degree in IT, Accounting or Finance.
