We are seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional travel experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate leisure travel requests from clients globally.
- Manage bookings for scheduled, no-frills, and chartered flights with a focus on first and business-class travel.
- Utilize commercial judgement and expertise with GDS (Amadeus) to find the best travel solutions.
- Provide outstanding customer service ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
- A proven track record in flight sales within a travel agency or tour operator.
- GDS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Amadeus including complex bookings and round-the-world routings.
- Travel Knowledge & Passion: Strong knowledge of leisure and city destinations as well as different travel styles.
- Luxury Travel Expertise: Demonstrated success in designing luxury holidays for affluent clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail especially when working under pressure.
- Dedication to customer satisfaction with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.
- Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and drive.
- Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Native-level proficiency in English both written and spoken.
Working Hours
- Full-time position.
- Monday to Friday 38 hours per week with a start time of either 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM.
