We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly, supportive, and fun team, providing high-quality education, development, and care to children while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Job Description

As a Diploma Room Leader, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. This involves actively supervising and interacting with them, ensuring they receive the highest standard of education and care.

Your role will also involve building trusting relationships with each child, creating a nurturing and loving environment, and facilitating the Grow curriculum within the campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children.
  • Ensure that our children are educated and cared for to the highest standard.
  • Interact with each child in a warm and responsive way and build trusting relationships.
  • Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment for the children at the campus.
  • Provide childcare services that comply with national regulations and support the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Implement the Grow curriculum within the campus.
  • Document the children's learning through the OAC Connect app, supporting and mentoring other team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • At least two years of full-time work experience in an Early Childhood setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
