About the Role

As a Senior Finance Transformation Consultant, you will lead the solution stream of large-scale ERP/Finance transformation projects in Oracle Fusion. You will work closely with CFOs to support their digital transformation journey, demonstrating your deep expertise in finance and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop strategic client relationships while ensuring the highest quality client work
  • Operate as a part of an Oracle Consulting squad to deliver the finance stream of and ERP transformation project with our customers
  • Apply leadership skills to work with onshore and offshore resources to drive quality outcomes
  • Collaborate in the ongoing creation of transformation IP
  • Share your industry knowledge and transformation experience with the larger OC team
  • Coach and mentor Oracle Consulting team members
  • Foster and provide thought leadership in finance transformation for OC ANZ
  • Ensure adoption and benefit realisation for our customers undertaking the transformation journey
  • Have the ERP/Finance implementation expertise to lead the solution stream of major digital transformations in cloud

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer's objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. As a position of technical/professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.

Role requirements

  • Proven Experience (10+ years) experience in Corporate / Finance roles in the industry and strong finance functional knowledge
  • 5+ years' experience working in professional services or consulting with demonstrated ability to provide advisory/thought leadership and share insights with our customers
  • Experience in leading digital Finance Transformations utilising cloud technology , Oracle Fusion preferred
  • A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organisations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business
  • Experience in Enterprise Performance Management - planning, budgeting and forecasting, management information and reporting, profitability and cost management, and performance data and analytics
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual problem solving skills and a high level of comfort with quantitative analysis and managerial accounting
  • Experience in Cloud ERP transformation projects with a focus on finance
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experience in the use of Design Thinking and Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and templates is essential
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with leading Cloud ERP/Finance technology, Oracle Cloud Financials will be highly beneficial.
