This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading trading firm in their Sydney office. As a Global ETF Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the ETF trade lifecycle, including end-of-day profit and loss (PnL) reconciliation.
- Reconcile position, cash, and trade activity prior to market open
- Verify front-office estimates against various broker reports
- Analyze accruals, including interest, internal capital charge, borrow expenses, brokerage fees & rebates etc.
- Manage fund transfers across brokers, including cross-border transfers for restricted currency
- Understand and cross-check prime broker margin and OTC collateral policies/models
- Oversee the life cycle of ETF creations and redemptions
- Serve as liaison between operations, traders, and all internal departments, as well as brokers
- Support business growth and expansion into new products and markets
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in PnL reporting, coupled with knowledge of ETF trade lifecycle and handling trade flow through to settlement. Proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Python is highly valued.
