Clinical Administration Specialist

The Clinical Administration Specialist - Outpatient Services will be responsible for providing efficient and comprehensive front-line administrative support to the SALHN Outpatient Clinics. This role will involve managing patient administration systems, processing referrals in a timely manner, notifying patients of clinic appointments, and adjusting appointments when required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient administration systems to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Process referrals in a timely and efficient manner to minimize delays.
- Notify patients of clinic appointments and provide relevant literature prior to consultation.
- Adjust appointments as necessary and inform patients of changes.
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with patient administration systems and software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
