Master Publishing Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Editor to lead our publishing efforts and bring best-in-class titles to market on time.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactive project management from manuscript to finished copy, creative development and editing, evaluating submissions, preparing acquisition plans, copywriting, and metadata management. They will also liaise with authors, agents, and freelancers to deliver exceptional results.
Key duties include:
- Project management from concept to completion
- Creative development and editing of manuscripts
- Evaluation and selection of submissions
- Preparation of acquisition plans and P&Ls
- Copywriting and metadata management
Requirements:
- Excellent editorial skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
- Demonstrable experience of taking multiple titles through the full editorial process
