About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our technical support team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to various teams across the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure hardware and software
  • Maintain computer systems and networks
  • Provide face-to-face, phone, or online support to identify and resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system/network problems and diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
  • Support the roll-out of new applications and updates
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deactivate offboarded users
  • Manage the service desk inbox and action tickets according to urgency
  • Upgrade devices and replace parts as required
  • Respond to enquiries and IT issues within determined timelines

About You

  • A tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Proven experience working independently
  • Strong computer literacy including an understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange Server, and other relevant technologies
  • Experience with server management
