Job Title: Administrative Support Officer Assessments

Are you looking for a role that contributes to public confidence in the integrity of law enforcement agencies in NSW? Do you have excellent analytical, research, investigative, and team work skills? If so, this is your opportunity to join the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) – an independent investigative commission established to provide oversight of the NSW Police Force and NSW Crime Commission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a broad range of administrative and clerical support services to the Assessments Team within the LECC's Oversight Division.
  • Under direction, collect and compile information relevant to the functions of the Assessments Team to inform the Team Leader in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and other operational documents.
  • Under direction, draft and prepare correspondence, minutes, and briefings to support the Assessments Team and Team Leader to achieve business requirements.
  • Assist the Team Leader, Assessments by updating and maintaining records and databases to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly, and accessible.
  • Assist the Team Leader to manage their record keeping, correspondence, and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agenda.
  • Adapt to and manage competing priorities arising from varied tasks assigned from the Assessments Team and Team Leader.
  • Research and seek guidance from policies, procedures, and manuals to respond to requests in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • To be eligible to apply for this temporary role, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Serving or former sworn officers of the NSW Police Force are ineligible to apply for this role.
  • The LECC requires all employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and to provide evidence of current vaccination status prior to being appointed to any role at the LECC.
  • The successful applicant will undergo a stringent national security clearance assessment.
