This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the Client Platform team.
The team is accountable for designing and maintaining the foundational frontend architecture across products, encompassing desktop, mobile, web clients, design systems, component libraries, build tooling, and platform capabilities that enable product teams to deliver high-quality, accessible, and consistent user experiences.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling production systems in cloud environments with expertise in infrastructure automation, CI/CD tooling, containerization, and orchestration.
They will also be comfortable with scripting languages such as Python or Bash and possess experience with monitoring and alerting tools, security best practices, and compliance requirements in healthcare.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can drive technical excellence, reduce duplication, and unlock developer velocity across client surfaces.
They will work cross-functionally with product, solutions engineering, and sales to ensure enterprise features are delivered with reliability and velocity.
The role requires a deep understanding of frontend architecture, testing, performance, and accessibility standards, as well as the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and growth within the team.
The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and supporting engineers on the Client Platform team, setting clear expectations, and ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption during architectural migrations or upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience in software engineering management
- Expertise in cloud environments, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD tooling
- Strong leadership skills with ability to drive technical excellence
