At GR Engineering Services Limited, we are seeking a seasoned Structural Draftsperson to join our Head Office team in Perth, WA. As a key member of our team, you will design and draft structural fixed plant drawings for process plant design.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in Structural Design with a minimum of 10 years' experience. They should also have expertise in process plant structural design and materials handling, as well as strong knowledge of drafting techniques, skills, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in accordance with client specifications, company standards, and procedures.
  • Design and draft structures for constructability, manufacture, and suitability/availability of materials and vendor information.
  • Communicate clear and concise information through drawings to engineers and project personnel.
  • Liaise with key project staff to ensure design coordination of multi-disciplined activities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Structural Design.
  • At least 10 years' experience in process plant structural design and materials handling.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, skills, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in TEKLA software.
  • Full and unrestricted Australian working rights along with relevant Australian experience.
