Experience structural drafters play a pivotal role in delivering quality results for process plant design. We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our team at our Head Office location in Ascot, WA.

Job Description

As a senior structural drafter, you will be responsible for designing and drafting fixed plant drawings. Your expertise will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality outputs that meet client specifications and our internal standards.

  • Create accurate drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in line with client requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Develop designs and drawings that cater to constructability, manufacture, and material suitability/availability.
  • Effectively communicate complex information through drawings to engineers.
  • Collaborate with key project personnel to coordinate multi-disciplinary activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess relevant qualifications in structural design, accompanied by a minimum of 10 years' experience. Your background in process plant structural design and materials handling is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, skills, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with TEKLA software and proficiency in its application.
  • Australian working rights and relevant local experience are necessary.
