Job Overview

Crown Technologies, a specialist electrical engineering company based in Cardiff, is seeking a skilled Electrical Project Coordinator to join their team.

This role involves planning and coordinating jobs across engineering, production, and installation. You will be responsible for liaising with clients and suppliers to clarify scope and ensure successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an electrical project or design environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and coordinating jobs across engineering, production, and installation
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to clarify scope and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Supporting quality assurance processes, including technical documentation and drawing control
  • Developing technical documentation and production packs for workshop manufacture
  • Overseeing commissioning and site installation activities

About the Role

As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will be involved in projects from concept to completion, working closely with engineers, production teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, to spec, and on budget.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an electrical project or design environment
  • Confident working across both technical and coordination aspects of a project
  • Familiar with interpreting electrical drawings, preparing technical documents, and liaising with clients/suppliers
