About the Role:
Takeda is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing both accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation laws.
Key Responsibilities:- Timely invoice processing, payment runs, vendor query resolution, bank balance management, and leveraging technology for efficiency.
- Processing employee travel, expense claims, and managing corporate card programs.
- Allocating customer cash receipts, monitoring AR aging reports, resolving discrepancies, and managing customer credit limits.
- Managing intercompany recharges, ensuring accurate intercompany balances, maintaining supplier and customer profiles, and supporting month-end and year-end financial activities.
- 4 years of bookkeeping/accounting clerical experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel).
- Experience in full-function accounts payable and receivable duties.
- Experience in a multinational company is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong task prioritisation skills.
