About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our ICU, you will provide expert care to complex patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. With a focus on quality improvement and mentorship, you will have opportunities to grow and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in our 20-bed ICU, catering to a range of specialties, including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, and general surgery
• Collaborate with our Clinical Emergency Response team to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
Requirements
• Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
• Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience in a local ICU
• Post-graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (desirable)
