About Northern Beaches Hospital
Northern Beaches Hospital is a world-class healthcare facility that provides Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. Our hospital features 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, and 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU. We have 14 state-of-the-art theatres, including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education centre, doctors' lounge, and excellent staff facilities, including a café and car parking.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic experienced ICU nurse to provide expert nursing care to complex patients. As a key member of our ICU team, you will be a pro-active team player, with demonstrated ability and desire to be part of a dynamic workforce, mentor junior staff, and participate in quality improvement. Progression to Clinical Nurse Specialist, and support through a structured career pathway, will be offered to a suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to complex patients in our 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
- Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience in a local ICU
