
Diagnostic Scientist

This role is a key position within the Biochemistry department, working closely with interdepartmental teams to perform professional work. The successful candidate will apply scientific specialist knowledge towards performance, analysis and troubleshooting of standard diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply professional judgement and technical expertise in the analysis and interpretation of test results.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with clinical personnel and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and information exchange.
- Participate in out-of-hours call-back service roster and work flexible shifts as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology, chemistry, medical science) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
