Job Responsibilities:- We're seeking an Enrolled Nurse to assist the Registered Nurse in providing patient care for injuries or illnesses.
- This role involves performing various care activities, including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and educating patients.
- You'll be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Your duties will also include supporting patient services, greeting patients, monitoring appointment books, registering patients, and updating registration details as required.
- You may be required to provide guidance on inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone.
- Maintaining a clean and well-stocked clinical area is essential, along with completing administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.
- A current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory.
- You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Experience in primary care settings, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion, is highly desirable.
- Three years of direct clinical practice nursing experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail are essential.
