We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our vibrant team at a luxury resort in Queensland, Australia.

Our resort boasts over 370 stylish rooms, a sparkling pool, a lively lagoon perfect for water sports, and a variety of dining options.

As part of the globally recognised hospitality group, we deliver memorable stays and genuine guest care.

As a Public Area Attendant, you will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our public and back-of-house areas, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining public and back-of-house areas, supporting stocktakes, ensuring proper use and storage of cleaning products, following safety and hygiene procedures, and assisting with housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and maintaining public and back-of-house areas
  • Supporting stocktakes and ensuring proper use and storage of cleaning products
  • Following all safety and hygiene procedures when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Assisting with housekeeping tasks including room cleaning, laundry, and uniform areas

Requirements:

  • A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on guest service
  • Physically fit and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining presentation standards
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability to work across a rotating seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
