This is an entry-level position in the Gas Operations team, responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of natural gas to our customers. The Utility Worker will work in a team environment, performing general duties such as:
- Must work safely at all times.
- Follow the direction of their journeyman, crew lead, and/or supervisor.
- Be able to read and comply with all required company standards and procedures.
Responsibilities include hand excavation, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining housekeeping, performing construction and maintenance on gas lines and underground electric infrastructure, and maintaining tools and equipment.
The successful candidate must be able to lift and maneuver up to 90 pounds, pass the Utility Worker Training course, and possess a valid Class C California Driver's License (or higher) by Day 1 of hire.
Desired qualifications include previous experience in construction, knowledge of pipeline coating, previous military experience, graduation from a PowerPathway Program, and current or past work experience with PG&E.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
