Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Rebates Analyst to establish and optimize vendor rebate processes, ensuring accurate capture and management of all contractual rebates across the group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Rebates Analyst to establish and optimize vendor rebate processes.
  • Data Integrity: Drive the development and implementation of robust systems and procedures to maintain accurate and complete vendor and rebate setups.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive rebate reports for Merchandise teams, working in tandem with the Rebates Analyst to provide actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders, addressing queries and resolving issues related to rebates and payments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with the Accounts Payable team to streamline inventory-related invoice processes and facilitate a smooth exit for inventory vendors.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Take ownership of the GRIR balance sheet reconciliation, partnering with AP and store teams to ensure timely and accurate clearance of balances.
  • Inventory Analysis: Conduct in-depth inventory shrink reporting, working closely with the Stock Integrity team to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1+ year of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualification: Actively pursuing a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP is beneficial.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a knack for prioritizing tasks.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
