Job Opportunity

As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. This includes completing reception duties, auditing daily transactions, preparing daily reports, and ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests with a professional yet friendly manner
  • Check-in/Check-out guests, answer calls from both in-house and outside guests
  • Accurately collate and audit all cashiering shifts and pass relevant information to the Finance Department
  • Maintain the security of the Hotel, room floors, F&B outlets, guest vehicles, and all hotel guests at all times
  • Allocate and oversee the completion of the Night Auditor/Night Porter duties
  • Have a thorough working knowledge on WHS procedures and ensure that all Night Staff on shift/site are familiar with these
  • Address maintenance problems including air-conditioning failures, electrical faults, leaks, burst pipes, water problems, refrigeration problems, etc.
  • Prepare and deliver room service, obtaining training as needed for menu changes

Requirements:

  • Basic accounting and data entry skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize according to the hotel's daily requirements
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Experience with conflict resolution and guest complaints, and the ability to create personal connections with guests
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Competent with OPERA Software or similar
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility with working weekends
  • Up-to-date RSA and driver's license
