**Job Opportunity:** Associate Director - PR Influencers

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the development, delivery and implementation of an integrated PR strategy across international and domestic markets.

In this role, you will lead a team to promote a high-performance culture and deliver effective public relations and publicity plans for a government agency.

You will provide high-level advice and support to senior stakeholders to help achieve strategic objectives and manage business processes for the PR team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in delivering media and public relations strategies, including media issues management.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in delivering media and public relations strategies, including media issues management
  • Strong experience in tourism and media industries and knowledge of the tourism and travel market within Australia
  • Current professional networks including media contacts and experience negotiating with senior media contacts to ensure media coverage nationally and internationally
