Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our medical office at IIQAF. This individual will be responsible for managing patient schedules, medical records, and insurance billing, ensuring efficiency and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Scheduling: Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information
  • Medical Record Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinate with medical staff and other departments as necessary
  • Insurance Billing: Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
  • Administrative Support: Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage for billing purposes
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and other callers
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Office Operations: Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical office administration is a plus
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance billing processes
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
