Silver Search Pty Ltd, a specialist recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Office Coordinator to support our client, a leading specialist practice in the CBD.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working in a surgical setting to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient services. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to doctors and medical staff, managing office operations, coordinating appointments, and maintaining patient records.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to doctors and medical staff, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and surgeries efficiently, minimizing wait times and maximizing productivity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Manage daily office operations, including supplies, equipment, and maintenance, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

You will have the following skills/attributes:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical practice or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Medical software and systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach, identifying and resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
