Senior Data Architect Opportunity

This is a high-performing team environment role for an experienced and dynamic SAP Data Engineer to join the federal government department in Canberra.

Job Description:

Designing and building information models, BEx queries, and SAP Business Objects reports are key responsibilities of this position. Additionally, developing and maintaining integration plans for 'As Is' and 'To Be' process models, creating documentation to support Self-Service Business Intelligence development, and leading new development initiatives are essential duties.

Requirements:
  • Over 7.5 years of experience in SAP BW administration and development.
  • Expertise in SAP BW 7.5 and Business Objects environments, including authorisations, management, and process chains for data loads.
  • Proven experience in HANA Live real-time reporting and building HANA CDS views, DSOs, InfoCubes, and MultiProviders.
  • Strong business-facing consulting skills with significant experience working with end users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and deliver high-quality results.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience with earlier versions of SAP BW may be considered.
  • Knowledge of BPC and SBP, with a strong understanding of finance and public sector budgeting and planning processes.
  • Ability to work in both BAU and project environments, managing change through testing and change management controls.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and ability to work with end-users not just functional/technical teams.
Essential Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security clearance or the ability to obtain it.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills and have the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
