Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI).

About the Role

The Community Support Worker will provide personalised assistance to our participants, whether it be at our facility, in the community, or within their homes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Disabilities
  • Prior experience as a front-line worker or carer, working with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication skills Both written and verbal, to ensure effective interaction with our participants
  • Sensitivity to diversity Experience in and sensitivity to working with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds
  • Transportation Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Tech-savvy A mobile smartphone with internet capabilities
  • Safety preparedness A current first aid certificate
  • NDIS compliance A current NDIS worker check
