The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production and inspection services, ensuring independent schedule monitoring, construction monitoring, and collation of necessary evidence certification of the shipbuilding product during its construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Inspection: Conduct welding inspections for structure and pipe fabrication to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Outfitting Inspection: Inspect outfitting activities, including fireproofing and insulation, to guarantee adherence to technical specifications.
  • Coating Inspection: Verify coating applications on various ship components to ensure durability and corrosion resistance.
  • Production Testing: Conduct tests, such as hydrostatic testing and load testing, to validate the structural integrity of ship components.
  • Pressure Equipment Certification: Issue certifications for pressure equipment used in shipbuilding, adhering to industry standards.
  • Desk Top Audits: Perform desk-based audits to identify potential issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Review of Physical Progress: Regularly inspect physical progress against project schedules and technical specifications.
