We are seeking an experienced horticultural professional to join our landscape maintenance team. As a Gardener you will be responsible for ensuring the gardens, parks and streetscapes under our care are well maintained and presented in an exceptional manner.

This role requires a high level of independence, accountability and excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, prioritise tasks and manage your time efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain trees through their establishment period.
  • Prune and hedge plants as required.
  • Replace trees, plants and mulch in garden beds.
  • Keept gardens weed free.
  • Maintain large turf areas using ride on mowers, whipper snippers and edgers.
  • Implement traffic management plans as required.
  • Clear pathways and maintain general tidiness.
  • Document and report equipment faults.
  • Deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Landscape maintenance experience and/or trade qualification in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (preferred).
  • Experience with ride on mowers, blowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, hand tools and power tools (desired).
  • Knowledge of tree care practices.
  • First Aid Certificate (an advantage).
  • Traffic Management Qualification (an advantage).
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Personal work standards of high quality.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
  • Capacity to work in all weather conditions.
