About This Opportunity

This position is for a Caring Professional to join our Critical Care Team in a major trauma hospital. You will support patients from vulnerable communities, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced surgical ward environment.

The role involves providing social work services to patients, families, and carers, including conducting psychosocial assessments, offering counselling, psychoeducation, and advocacy for clients within the hospital and broader community.

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload while using sound professional judgement to navigate complex situations.

Additionally, you will be supported in your commitment to ongoing professional development across clinical and non-clinical areas.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in a health-related field who can provide a range of Social Work interventions, prioritise work, and manage stressful situations.

The successful candidate will have proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
