Personal Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team in providing quality care and support to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the independence and well-being of our residents.

Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be available to work night shifts and be able to provide personal care and support to our residents.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time opportunity with various shift options available. As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times
  • Collaborating with other staff members to deliver high-quality care and services
  • Building relationships with our residents and their families, engaging with them to improve their health, lifestyle, and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional, and social needs of older people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Certificate of completion - SA Health's Understanding COVID-19 for Aged Care Workers (free online training)
  • Current influenza vaccination and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • TGA approved Covid-19 vaccine including the booster shot
  • National Police Clearance (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people)
