Project Manager - Defence Capability

Rubix Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Defence capability projects in Canberra. As a veteran-owned SME, we offer consulting and professional services within complex Defence environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, and manage project activities and deliver required project products, data, documents, and outcomes in accordance with specified scope, cost, schedule, quality, security, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report project progress, issues, risks, and variations against approved plans.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain project plans, documents, reports, and records.
  • Engage with stakeholders and establish tasking agreements.
  • Gather, consolidate, and distribute information on project activities and progress.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Active NV1 security clearance or above.
  • Experience in Defence and/or Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) environments.
  • Knowledge of the 1DD System highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management or a related field.
  • Understanding of project management frameworks such as PMBOK or PRINCE2.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
