Senior Cyber Security Risk Specialist

This is an opportunity to shape this newly created role in cyber security risk & compliance, to ensure the cyber safety of the organisation and residents of NSW.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Producing compliance reports
  • Supporting audit activities
  • Undertaking security threat/risk assessments
  • Liaising with other government agencies on broader security strategy and needs
  • Handling communications with internal and external stakeholders on compliance issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification in CISSP, CISM or CISA
  • Experience in security risk and compliance
  • Experience with Essential Eight compliance activities
  • Experience with information security management frameworks - for example IS027001
