Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the engagement of EPC suppliers for our solar and wind projects. Your role will involve developing and maintaining a robust network of specialized suppliers, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on their capabilities, track record, financial stability, and adherence to sustainability standards.

The successful candidate will collaborate with project development teams to understand project requirements and specifications, developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgetary constraints. They will establish procurement plans, including sourcing strategies, bid evaluations, and contract award recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust network of EPC suppliers, negotiate and establish contractual agreements, and ensure competitive pricing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with project development teams, develop and implement procurement strategies, and establish procurement plans.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of procurement contracts, mitigate contractual risks, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, promote collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Continuously assess and improve procurement processes, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar and essential experience working in an EPC environment for a renewable energy business.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts, engineering specifications, and project management concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
