Job Opportunity

We are seeking a casual staff member to assist at our coding camps during the school holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity to share your passion for coding, technology, and creativity with kids aged 5-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coding lessons to a small class of primary-aged children using drag-and-drop programming languages including Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Assist in creating 2D/3D games or websites that kids can take home.
  • Work collaboratively with a qualified teacher and online tech-support team to ensure a smooth camp experience.
  • Supervise children and maintain a safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (not required but preferred).
  • Experience working with young kids (aged 5-12) as this role involves leading a class.
  • Mature outlook, common sense, and ability to supervise children.
  • Fluent conversational English.
  • Valid Employee Working With Children Check - (or willingness to obtain immediately).
