The Snowy 2.0 project in Australia aims to design and construct one of the world's largest pumped hydro schemes, located in the Snowy Mountains region.

A team is recruiting for multiple positions within the Tail Race Tunnel scope, working on a rotating roster that may include day/night shifts. The roles involve operating machinery, such as jumbo drills, bolters, shotcrete machines, and tunnel boring equipment.

The positions available are:

  • Jumbo Operators
  • Bolter Operators
  • Shotcrete Operators
  • Tunnel workers (including Bolter helpers, shotcrete helpers)
  • General Labourers
  • Multi-skilled Plant Operators (wheel loaders, backhoes, ADTs, excavators, telehandlers, compactors, crane trucks, AGIs, dumpers, FlexiROC operators, haggloader operators)

To be eligible for these positions, you must currently hold the following tickets/licenses:

  • Driver's license
  • General Construction Induction training (white card)
  • Right to work in Australia
  • High risk work license - advantageous
  • Working at Heights - advantageous
  • Confined Space - advantageous
  • Pass a criminal history check and a medical examination
