Lead Medical Education Expert

This position requires a medical professional to oversee the national governance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education in GP training.

You will develop, implement and maintain culturally safe training programs for registrars and supervisors nationwide. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders to align education with national frameworks.

  • National Governance: Lead the development of strategies and initiatives that promote culturally safe education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
  • Culturally Safe Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs that cater to the needs of GP registrars and supervisors in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with national frameworks and standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in medical education and training.
  • Collaboration: Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
  • Credentials: RACGP or ACRRM fellowship with current clinical practice.
