We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Operations Manager to join our team at West HQ, the largest fitness facility in Western Sydney.

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including daily meal, uniform, free parking, and precinct-wide staff discounts.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of Group Fitness, Gym Floor, and Personal Training, ensuring our members receive the best possible fitness experience. This includes:

  • Coordinating and overseeing Group Fitness classes, ensuring a diverse and engaging schedule.
  • Managing gym floor operations, including equipment maintenance and member safety.
  • Supervising and supporting Personal Trainers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitoring and enhancing member satisfaction through excellent customer service and proactive engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a fitness leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping our members achieve their fitness goals.
  • Strong supervision and people leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High-level computer literacy and administration skills.
  • Initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm for delivering results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with team, members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration within the team.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in fitness instruction or personal training (e.g., Certificate III and IV in Fitness).
