We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A reliable vehicle and flexibility to work across multiple locations are also essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend shifts at short notice and work across various locations
  • Ensure the safety of children and the general public at school crossings
  • Work effectively in varying weather conditions and maintain a positive attitude
  • Meet physical requirements of the role and build a positive rapport with children, parents, and school staff
  • Utilize computer skills for online training and maintain accurate records

Selection Criteria

  • A current Working with Children Check and satisfactory Police Check
  • Ability to work within clearly defined procedures, policies, and regulations
  • Flexibility to travel to any crossing within the municipality and attend training sessions as required
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role and work in a team environment
