Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve strategic corporate direction.

Senior Team Leader Responsibilities
  • Develop people, manage change and influence behaviours to maintain a respectful, inclusive culture.
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team delivering a centralized procurement and contract management service through a business partner model.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve organizational outcomes within CFO Command priorities, regulatory frameworks, and organizational codes of conduct.
  • Manage resources, set work priorities, develop strategies and evaluate outcomes.
  • Identify and drive performance improvement by measuring organizational performance.
  • Develop team members and provide support and advice; provide HR and management support to team members and supervisors.
  • Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to the organization.
  • Provide sound advice to the business (including Senior Executive) on improving business practices.
  • Ensure action is taken to anticipate, communicate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
  • Represent Procurement Services at inter- and intra-agency meetings as required.
Qualifications and Selection
  • Candidates must be Australian Citizens.
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated expertise and contemporary knowledge relevant to the role.
  • Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in the area of expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering applicable corporate services.
  • Knowledge of government and industry strategic initiatives.
