This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to join our team at Public Sector People. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage project systems and documentation processes to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.
  • Collaborate with business units to progress projects through the lifecycle, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting planned initiatives.
  • Deliver strategic challenge, overview, and scrutiny across portfolios and projects, ensuring alignment with Council policy and strategic initiatives.
  • Support Project Managers in creating and managing project plans, identifying cross-project dependencies, and reviewing project status reports.
  • Actively review risks, issues, and change-control processes, assisting Project Managers in managing these effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project governance and assurance measures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business units and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and support planned initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
