About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our client in obtaining an Australian Financial Service Licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee risk and compliance activities within the organization
- Assist the company in obtaining an Australian Financial Service Licence
- Provide oversight and challenge the application of Compliance Management Frameworks
- Advise business partners, including senior management, on these frameworks
- Update and draft compliance policies and procedures according to relevant prudential standards
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Compliance risk avoidance
- Experience in setting up or assisting in the setup of an AFSL
- Qualifications in Law or a compliance management-related field
- 5-7 years' experience in Compliance or risk management
- Strong working knowledge, and practical application of compliance legislations, regulations, standards, and policies
