Job Description:

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is seeking a number of scientific evaluators in the biological science section.

This role involves undertaking assessments and approvals of biological medicines and gene therapies, as well as evaluating infectious disease safety aspects of therapeutic goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake assessment and approval of biological medicines and gene therapies.
  2. Regulate blood and blood components.
  3. Evaluate infectious disease safety aspects of therapeutic goods.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in biological sciences from an Australian tertiary institution or comparable overseas qualifications.
  • Scientific analytical ability.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
