Brass Instrumental Music Teacher Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated music educator to join our team as a Brass Instrumental Music Teacher.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instrumental music lessons, both individually and in small groups. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering expert-level instrumental instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Modeling best practice as a performing musician and providing inspiration for students to reach their full potential.
  • Developing personalized programs of instruction for private students, focusing on establishing solid technical foundations for development.
  • Fostering a love of music in students and promoting a supportive learning environment.

The successful candidate will work across multiple campuses, with opportunities to combine 0.8 FTE and 0.2 FTE roles. A well-resourced studio within the Music Centre will provide a productive working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Music.
  • Significant experience as a brass educator in various educational contexts.
