Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Music Teacher with expertise in Latin American traditions to join our team. In this role, you will teach general music while offering specialized instruction in traditional percussion and plucked string instruments from Latin America. You will help shape our curriculum and deliver high-quality individual and group lessons, as well as workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver personalized programs for individual and group instruction, blending general music and Latin American styles.

Teach the theory and practical aspects of music, focusing on rhythms and instruments from the region.

Design exercises and activities tailored to each student's abilities and learning goals.

Provide constructive feedback and encourage progress in students of all levels.

Update and revise course materials, methods, and content to stay current with educational trends.

Prepare students for exams, performances, and assessments.

Stay informed on developments in music education by attending relevant events and reading up-to-date materials.

Organize student performances and exhibitions, potentially including visits to external events and professional shows.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, with a focus on Latin American music.

Proficiency in traditional percussion and plucked string instruments from Latin America.

Excellent organizational, teaching, and communication skills.

Experience teaching students of all levels in both individual and group settings.

Commitment to diverse and inclusive music education.

Preferred Qualifications:
Over 5 years of teaching experience across a variety of musical styles.

Experience organizing workshops and performances.

Enthusiasm for working with students from diverse backgrounds and adapting teaching methods to meet their needs.
