Youth Case Manager Job Description

This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people experiencing challenges with alcohol and other drug (AOD) use. As a Youth Case Manager, you will provide comprehensive support and guidance to help them navigate their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver case management support to young people and families dealing with AOD issues.
  • Build knowledge of current trends, interventions, and best practices in AOD treatment.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to deliver integrated care.
  • Support clients in rebuilding positive family and community connections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Social Work, Youth Work, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in case management with individuals facing complex circumstances.
  • Strong understanding of trauma, mental health, and emotional development.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and awareness of various religious and cultural practices.
  • Current Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check.
